The Magic Carpet

Welcome to one of the best places to take in views from the water’s edge. The Magic Carpet is a cantilevered, floating platform that reaches heights of 13 stories above sea level. Majestically situated on the starboard side of the ship, it makes Celebrity Apex’s sleek profile recognizable from miles away. Designed with comfortable seating, a full bar, and space for live music performances, it truly is a destination itself.

Gratuities

Guests who choose not to prepay gratuities at the time of booking will have a service gratuity automatically applied to their respective SeaPass® account on a daily basis, in the amount shown below.* Gratuities collected are distributed to crew members, including dining, bar and culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, hotel services teams as well as others onboard who work to enhance the overall cruise experience.

  • $18.00 per guest, per day will be applied to guests sailing on all Inside, Oceanview and Veranda staterooms.
  • $19.00 per guest, per day will be applied to guests sailing on all Concierge and AquaClass staterooms.
  • $23.00 per guest, per day will be applied to guests sailing in The Retreat staterooms.

Additionally, a 20% gratuity will be automatically added to all pre-cruise and onboard purchases of spa and salon services, beverages and beverage packages, specialty dining and specialty dining packages, room service and mini bar purchases.*

Gratuities may be modified in the guest’s sole discretion by visiting the Guest Relations desk onboard at any time prior to the morning of disembarkation. Guests sailing in group reservations should check with their group leader or travel agent for additional details.

Celebrity Apex® offers not one but four complimentary main restaurants—Normandie, Tuscan, Cosmopolitan, and Cyprus. Every restaurant features the same mouthwatering menu that changes nightly, plus each one offers its own ambience, along with a selection of exclusive, regionally inspired dishes and drinks.

We may have reinvented the main restaurant experience, but we haven’t changed the way you plan your dining in our main restaurants. You can choose Celebrity Select Early or Late seating for your dining times, which allows you to enjoy dinner at the same table with the same waiter every evening. You’ll be assigned one of the four main dining restaurants, while having the option to dine in the other three upon request.

On Celebrity Apex, we offer Celebrity Select Dining Anytime. Select your dining time in any of the four restaurants and enjoy a change of scenery. There’s nothing traditional about Celebrity. With Celebrity Select Dining the choice of how you plan your evening meals is up to you.

The fun starts at Camp At Sea, our onboard entertainment centre and program designed exclusively for kids ages 3 to 12. Open every day from 9:00am - 10:00pm, Camp at Sea offers kids the opportunity to participate in a number of entertaining activities, including treasure hunts, arts and crafts, sports, and theme parties, all under the supervision of our experienced youth staff. For our teen cruisers, the Teen Club is the place to be. At the Teen Club, they can make new friends and participate in events like video game competitions, teen parties, and culinary classes. Activities are overseen by our team of teen counsellors and offered throughout the day, allowing teens to come and go as they please.
