City Cruise Terminal
(Berth 101)
Designed to accommodate the larger ships visiting the UK, Southampton's City Cruise Terminal is one of its busiest.
Getting here
The terminal is easily accessible by car or public transport. If you're driving, head towards the Western Docks, following the A33, West Quay Road. Look for signage to Dock Gate 10; City Cruise Terminal is just through there to your left.
By train, the closest station is Southampton Central. Regular local and national services run there, with links to Southampton Airport Parkway running frequently. It’s just under one mile to walk from the station to the terminal. We suggest catching a taxi. There are dedicated ranks either side of the station.
Private hire taxis can be booked with a number of local providers. Click here for details of private hire taxis.
A short stay car park can be found opposite the terminal, with disabled bays also available. For details on how to secure long stay parking, please visit the following page: https://www.abparking.co.uk/
Arrivals
For those arriving in Southampton, there is an Arrivals Lounge with ample seating. Open to the public, this offers the opportunity for friends and family to wait inside comfortably.
Facilities in the arrivals include standard and disabled access toilets, as well as a magazine stand offering a range of complimentary magazines.
Located outside the terminal, Café Ceanos offers a range of refreshments with a good selection of food and drink available. For those wishing to start their holidays early, alcoholic beverages are also available
Taxi ranks and coach bays can be found just outside the terminal as you exit. Pre-booking with a local firm can save waiting in long queues; Further details on local taxi companies can be found here.
Check-In
As soon as your luggage is safely with porters (remembering to keep any hand luggage with you), head into the terminal. You will need to go through security before check-in, so make sure you’ve got your tickets and passport ready.
Upon clearing security, you can proceed to check-in. The number of desks available varies between cruise operators and ship sizes. Just remember to stick to the time your travel agent or cruise operator suggests, as it can get quite busy.
Departure Lounge
There is plenty of comfortable seating for you to take advantage of whilst you wait to board the ship. A stand offering complimentary magazines can also be found here, with the collection changing throughout the year. There are also standard and disabled access toilets located within the Departure Lounge. Café Ceanos will also be open for you to enjoy a selection of food and drink.
